The Brand Global Summit, jointly hosted by United Nations Industrial Development Organization(UNIDO) and European Brand Institute(EBI), is taking place on 18 October at the Vienna International Centre in Vienna, Austria.

The Brand Global Summit highlights success stories of branding as an effective tool to support regions, industries and enterprises to achieve higher productivity, increase value-added and competitiveness, while unlocking investment opportunities. It also brings into focus the impact of digital transformation, which extends into branding and intellectual property management, stimulating innovation, highlighting the importance of IP protection, thus driving digitalization-driven industrial upgrading.

The Summit brings together leading branding experts and high-level representatives from national, regional and local governments, the private sector, academia, and international organizations, who engage in insightful discussions and experience exchange on applying brand management as a multidimensional-impact tool for improving economic performance and resilience in an increasingly digitalization-driven world economy, while accelerating industrial upgrading and sustainable development at the regional, national and international levels.

The event will include keynote speeches, panel discussions and pre-recorded presentations, encompassing the following topics:
