This panel, titled "AIM Global: Democratizing AI – Bridging the Digital Divide in Industry and Manufacturing" explores the cutting-edge developments, challenges, and opportunities poised by AI to transform the sectors and spur innovation. As part of the UNIDO Initiative “Global Alliance on Artificial Intelligence for Industry and Manufacturing” (AIM Global) https://aim.unido.org, the panel assembles a diverse group of experts and High level thought leaders from various sectors, fostering a multidimensional dialogue on the integration, implementation, and impact of AI in industry and manufacturing globally.

Mr. Davit Sahakyan, Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia
Mr. Davit Sahakyan is a distinguished leader with 25+ years of multifaceted experience in Business Strategy, Financial Management, Innovation Development, Data Science & Mathematical Modeling, Project Management, and BPM with key roles at Converse Bank, Inecobank, VTB-Armenia, Haypost, and Team Viewer. Additionally, he successfully managed a consultancy firm focusing on BPM, Business Strategy, and Financial Modeling with significant contributions to startup development. A Ph.D. in Mathematics from the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, he also pursued advanced studies at the Katz Business School (University of Pittsburgh) and an executive program at Harvard's Kennedy School of Governance.
Ms. Clara Neppel, Senior Director of European Business Operations, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Technology Centre GmbH
Ms. Clara Neppel is responsible for the growth of IEEE’s operations and presence in Europe, focusing on the needs of industry, academia, and government. She joined IEEE after many years with the European Patent Office where she was involved in various aspects relating to innovation, intellectual property, and public policy in the field of information and communication technologies. Ms. Neppel holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich and a Master in Intellectual Property Law and Management from the University of Strasbourg.
Mr. Anatolii Marushchak, General Secretary, International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP)
Mr. Anatolii Marushchak is a human rights researcher, an information/cyber law and counter disinformation expert and a co-founder and strategic advisor (pro-bono) at the International Information Academy, an NGO conducting research and providing information and training on cyber and information law, counter disinformation. Anatolii authored more than 180 papers, books and theses on the subject. In 2019-2022, he served as an ICT Infrastructure Specialist, ICT Adviser for the PRAVO-Police Project at the United Nations Office for Project Services. Anatolii received his law degree, PhD and Doctor of Legal Science degrees from the National Academy of SSU in Ukraine.
Mr. Michał Dżoga, Government Partnerships Director of EMEA Region, Intel
Graduate of Warsaw School of Economics. Former advisor to President of Poland (1999-2004) and advisor to the CEO of Polish Telecom (2004-2008). Founder and former President of the Orange Foundation, and co-founder and Council Chairman of the Coalition for Polish Innovations. Initiator and Council Chair of the “IT for She” consortium advocating for women’s increased ICT career uptake. At Intel for the last 14 years as a Director for Strategic Partnerships with governments and international organizations in the EMEA region, in the role of Intel Country Manager in Poland, executing the company's strategy in Europe.
