This impact evaluation was jointly funded by UNIDO and the Norwegian Agency for \nDevelopment Cooperation (NORAD) and conducted in 2009 by the UNIDO Evaluation Group in close cooperation with the UNIDO “Trade Capacity Building” branch and the Institute for Policy Studies (IPS) of Sri Lanka. The findings and recommendations contributed to a major thematic evaluation of UNIDO activities in the area of Standards, Metrology, Testing and Quality (SMTQ) that was conducted in parallel.
